It is worth your time to do more...

Here it is, another reason why I love Memory Manager, well... maybe more than one reason...
the ease of photo retrieval and the" Tell the Story feature".

As soon as I import my photos into Memory Manager, I name them. Even before they are sub-filed in folders they are given names. Important people deserve to be remembered, so name them!

And if the moment was one that needed a story, I do it right then and there. Time flys and some moments are important to keep still. The moments that you and others can reflect on and draw meaning from. Tell the Story!

After all is told the photo is EASY to get out of the mega data base memories. Instead of scrolling, just click a button. Search Vault

Then enter in your keyword(s) and...TAH-DAH you got what you wanted, or in this case who you wanted.

You can then make use of this photo by doing something more...print it and even better tell the story :)

Life is Rugged!

I have to laugh at the present state of my life. Chicken pox has hit our city and I have been under quarantine with three boys for what feels like and eternity, but reality it has been around 4 weeks. (Only a month?)Life is rugged. Being a more than part-time teacher and trying to do the best at creating a business that helps people LOVE their life was not happening. Nothing was happening except for spots, no sleeping, just spots...Life was rugged.

I did have a reprieve, a weekend scrapbooking retreat with some amazing women. And while I was there, life was rugged :) Using one of my favourite CM power pallettes Rugged.

And it made me realize something quite profound, LIFE is Rugged, take some time to scrapbook it and you will find that you LOVE it!

Oh and I am so looking forward to my next paper pack aka power pallette,
30% off in March....ENCHANTED! I am looking forward to the life the will be loved by that paper and the love in the pages :)

Organize your photos

New year, new blog, but same focus, photos.

Six years ago I was so overwhelmed when I thought about my photos. I had just got a digital camera, had my first child and was taking hundreds of photos each month. I had no idea where my photos were going when I loaded them into the computer. In a file with a date on it. My photos were numbered jpegs.

Then I found Creative Memories and Memory Manager. With ease I could see when my photos were taken, I could name my photos, rate my photos and even tell stories that would link to my pictures. With a click of a button I could find my pictures...not spend hours scrolling and hunting.

But recently something happened that made me appreciate Memory Manager even more than before. My external hard became corrupt and 14,000 photos, six years of "virtual" memories disappeared.

But because of Creative Memories I had a organized, made books and printed all of my favourite photos.
Memory Manager made it less overwhelming, the Storybook program made it possible for me to create photobooks and the Creative Memories product made it easy for me to create meaningful scrapbooks that will last a lifetime.

Here are the KEYS to keeping your memories safe:

Every three or four months I would upload my favourite photos to the Creative Memories Digital Center.
( They are still in the CM cloud, thank you! ) And from there I would print those photos with a click of a button and they would show up on my doorstep soon after.

Then I put them in the CM powersort photobox. The boxes make it easy for you to create a system so you can find your photos without hours of rifling through bags, cardboard boxes and otherwise.

Other photos were made into digital photobooks...to be shared and loved in quiet moments with those I love.

Remind yourself and others that you are loved!Take a picture, SMILE!
